About us

Safeguarding Children training

Safeguarding Bedfordshire provides a range of E Learning and face to face multi-agency training to support the development of the children’s workforce across Bedfordshire.

Safeguarding Adults training

Safeguarding Bedfordshire also supports ‘Safeguarding Adults’ training.  This promotes the development of an integrated care workforce across Bedfordshire.  When learning together, partnerships and wider understanding of services and support is developed and better working across agencies is achieved.

Learning opportunities

There are a range of face to face courses, conferences, eLearning and other development activities throughout the year. These provide an excellent opportunity to meet the statutory requirements of your job role if applicable and enhance your safeguarding skills and knowledge in a multi-agency learning environment. Training also enables employers to evidence their legal and workforce development responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

The programme includes awareness raising and practice development sessions, specially commissioned courses and conferences. Learning events are developed in response to the identified learning and development needs of the safeguarding workforce.  Learning activity is delivered in partnership with local and national experts to ensure high quality training is available.
